Sikh body protests over flick based on 1984 Sikh genocide

Moga: The All India Sikh Students Federation today strongly protested against the screening of new film named October 31, and releasing it on October 7, 2016 .Karnail Singh Peer Mahomand, president AISSF said here today in this film the producer highlighted the achievements of Indra Gandhi and has been named after 1984 communal riots, where-as these were not communal riots rather were Sikh genocide.

" According to AISSF president it highlighted the achievements of Indra Gandhi which added salt over the wounds of Sikhs.He threatened of agitation and would not allow the screening of such film.
He also appealed to SGPC for its interference and setting of intellectuals panel to see the movie before it releasing. (UNI)
