Mumbai: Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) detained four drug peddlers, as part of the investigations into the drugs angle in the death of Hindi cinema actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
The officers of the NCB carried out raids in Mumbai's Powai and Andheri suburbs, besides Thane, and recovered a total quantity of 1.418 kg. of contraband like Charas and Ganja during the operations.
Following a statement given by one drug supplier, Ankush Arneja who was arrested last Sunday, the NCB raided the home of one Rahil Rafat Vishra alias Sam, who supplied Charas to him (Arneja).
"We have recovered 928 gms Charat and Rs.436,000 cash from Vishra's home late on Thursday," said a NCB official.On the base of Arneja's statement, the NCB raided another drug peddler Rohan Talwar house and recovered 10 gms Ganja.
Talwar's interrogation led the NCB to another person named Nogthoung from another 370 gms Ganja was found, said the NCB.During the introgation, he had revealed the name of his associate Vishal Salve who was also detained and 110 gms Ganja was recovered from him.
All have been detained and further investigations were on, the NCB added.(UNI)
