Sunny Deol's Gadar 2 earns Rs 450 crore at Indian box office, fastest to do so

Bollywood actor Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel starrer Gadar 2 has become the fastest film to earn Rs 450 crore at the Indian box office.
Gadar: Ek Prem Katha, directed by Anil Sharma, was released in the year 2001.
Sunny Deol, Amish Patel and Amrish Puri played important roles in this film.
Gadar 2, the sequel to 'Gadar: Ek Prem Katha', reunites Sunny and Ameesha.
'Gadar 2' was released in the theaters on August 11.
Gadar 2' earned 284 crores in the first week. Gadar 2 is breaking records one by one.
According to film critic Taran Adarsh, 'Gadar 2' has become the fastest film to cross the Rs 450 crore mark at the Indian box office.
The film has achieved this benchmark in just 17 days. Earlier this record was in the name of 'Pathaan'.
Shahrukh Khan's film Pathaan touched the figure of 450 crores in 18 days.
Whereas Prabhas' 'Bahubali 2' took 20 days to reach here.
The 17-day total collection of 'Gadar 2' now stands at Rs 456.95 crore.
Gadar 2 stars Utkarsh Sharma, Manish Wadhwa, Simrat Kaur, Luv Sinha in pivotal roles along with Sunny and Ameesha.
