Mumbai: Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu will be seen playing the female lead in Anurag Kashyap's 'Womaniya', a film based on unconventional real life incidents, trade sources said on Thursday.Taapsee will feature in an author backed role in the movie.The actress will play the lead in 'Womaniya' but will be accompanied by another actress too in this two-heroine project.
The film is based on professional female shooters and is inspired by real life incidents."Taapsee will have to undergo extensive training in professional shooting for the film," sources said.The film will be Anurag Kashyap’s production as he will be introducing a new director with this venture.The film is expected to go on floor in July this year.
Taapsee will also be seen in Anurag Kashyap's, 'Manmarziyan', produced by Aanand L Rai.Vicky Kaushal is said to be playing the leading man in the film, which is a two-hero project, and Abhishek Bachchan will be playing the third wheel in this love triangle, sources added.(UNI)
