Mumbai: Thappad has been making waves ever since its trailer was launched and is all set to hit the screens later this week. Thappad is also being hailed as one of the most important films of the year and has already made a special place in people's hearts. This film also marks the second film of Anubhav Sinha and Taapsee Pannu together after creating magic in Mulk.
Talking about his experience of working with Taapsee, for the second time after Mulk, director Anubhav Sinha says, “When you spend time with a person, you learn more about the person, and you develop a chemistry. Of course, I know her better as an actor and as a person today, and I feel that when you know an actor better, chances are that you will deliver better results together. Taapsee is selfless and transparent as an actor. She doesn’t want you to find any Taapsee in the movie, just the character. That is charming about her.”

The duo is all set to create magic again on-screen and bringing content that is yet again extremely hard-hitting and receiving praises from the audiences. Thappad did everything in a unique and different manner to spread its message across the globe and released a second trailer on youtube urging the viewers to report the trailer and the audiences took a step forward and supported the makers.

Thappad had its first preview at Delhi and was hosted by Sudhir Mishra the second one being hosted by Hansal Mehta at Jaipur and the third one at Bhopal hosted by Vishal Bhardwaj. The movie received a standing ovation and rightly, is being called as this year’s Pink.

Thappad starring Taapsee Pannu in the lead is directed by Anubhav Sushila Sinha and produced by T-Series’ Bhushan Sudesh Kumar and Anubhav Sushila Sinha; will release on 28th February.
