'The Gray Man': Dhanush is a 'lethal force'

New Delhi: Netflix on Tuesday released an action packed scene from ‘The Gray Man’, giving a glimpse of superstar Dhanush.In the snippet, we can see Dhanush going head-to-head with Court Gentry (Ryan Gosling), aka, Sierra Six and Agent Dani Miranda (Ana de Armas) in an intense fight scene.

Sharing the video on their social media, Netflix wrote, “We choose Dhanush as our weapon of choice anyday #TheGrayMan, coming on 22nd July, only on Netflix”.

Dhanush, who plays a pivotal role in the movie, shared the glimpse on his social media handle, and said, “Avik San from #TheGrayMan @therussobrothers”. His character is described as a "lethal force".

Earlier, Dhanush in a statement had said, “I don’t know how I ended up in this film. I was thrilled and very excited. Of course, I don’t get to say much in the film. I was super thrilled and was looking for an opportunity to learn and explore.”

Directed by Anthony Russo and Joe Russo, written by Joe Russo, Christopher Markus, and Stephen McFeely, the movie is based on book series ‘The Gray Man’ by Mark Greaney.

‘The Gray Man’ is CIA operative Court Gentry (Ryan Gosling), aka, Sierra Six. Plucked from a federal penitentiary and recruited by his handler, Donald Fitzroy (Billy Bob Thornton), Gentry was once a highly-skilled, Agency-sanctioned merchant of death. But now the tables have turned and Six is the target, hunted across the globe by Lloyd Hansen (Chris Evans), a former cohort at the CIA, who will stop at nothing to take him out. Agent Dani Miranda (Ana de Armas) has his back. He’ll need it.‘The Gray Man’ will release on July 22, on Netflix.(UNI)
