A Tragic Saga based on the real stories of three girls who got converted to Islam and became ISIS brides is being welcomed with rousing reception at box office among Indian cine goers. The plot of the movie had already sparked uproar nationwide as few offsets, political parties, intellectuals, Influencers and also bollywood insiders like actors have termed it as Propaganda.
However, all this had been a blessing in disguise for the Vipul Shah produced Sudipto Sen directed and Adah Sharma starrer "The Kerala Story". The movie withstood all hurdles in the first weeked to gross a handsome collection at box office. The flick received an opening of 8 crore on Friday, The collection surged to a double digits of 11 crores. The movie made the most of Sunday by garnering 16 crores to end the first weekend collection on a rosier note of 35 crores.
Now the low budget movie faces a litmus paper monday test which will possibly be passed witnessing the buzz around the cine enthusiasts. (WD)
