Rajamouli's much touted projet"RRR" has been creating a buzz for quite a long time. Just like Bahubali "RRR" was also expected for a record opening at the box office till the covid pandemic played a spoilsport.

However, the makers don't need to stress about the collections as the digital and satellite rights have been sold at a whopping amount. The zee group has bought the rights in 325 crores. .

While the AP and Telangana regions have collectively recorded Rs 215 crores (Nizam - 75cr, Andhra - 100cr and Ceded - 40cr) at this point, Karnataka rights have been sold for 50cr and Kerala rights for 15cr while the Tamilnadu rights are in talks! But that's not it, the overseas rights have been bought for a massive 70 crores. With all this, RRR is the first film that would easily do the pre-release business of more than 400 Crores from South India and Overseas alone. Addition of digital rights will make the total of 700-800 crore.

Rajamouli's RRR will see Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgan and Junior NTR alongside Ram Charan.

The interesting insight about 'RRR' is that the movie's team has completed the film's first schedule and the team is working on the film's second schedule, now.

The film deals with a fictional story revolving around freedom fighters of the year 1920, Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem who fought against the British Raj.

It is a fictional retelling of their lives before they became public figures which are already getting the fans excited.

'RRR' is a period action film, which is simultaneously made in Telugu and Tamil and also being dubbed in Hindi and Malayalam.
