Popular south TV actress Pavitra Jayaram passed away in a road accident on Sunday.
She was known for essaying the role of Thilottama in the hit Telugu television series 'Trinayani'.
Jayaram died on the spot in a horrific car crash near Mehboob Nagar in Andhra Pradesh.
The accident occurred while returning to Hanakere in Mandya district of Karnataka. First, her car lost control and hit the divider. Then an RTC bus coming from opposite direction hit the car in the early hours of the day. Pavitra was seriously injured in the accident and died on the spot.
She has acted in several daily soaps, in both Kannada and Telugu.
