Chennai:In a subtle political indication, actor Rajinikanth,who has confirmed his entry into politics but was yet to formally launch his own party, on Saturday said even if one comes late, he should come at the correct time.
Speaking at the grand trailer launch of up his upcoming film '2.0' here,he, however, said he was speaking about the film. In his speech which had apparent political tones, he said ''even if it is delayed, it should come at the correct time and it should be a sure hit', amid loud cheers from the packed audience.
However, he was quick to add that he was talking about the film.''The film will be a super-duper hit and end up as a blockbuster'', he added. Heaping laurels on Director K Shankar, Rajinikanth said 'Shankar is awonderful filmmaker. He raised the level of Tamil cinema and now with '2.0' he has challenged the international standards.
''When Shankar narrated the story to me, I did not ask him how his imagination can be brought alive on screen. I worked with him before and know he is capable of anything'', he said, adding, the Director dreams big and executes them to perfection. Stating that Shankar never fails to meet the expectations, Rajini described him as 'great magician'.
Calling him to be the Indian version of James Cameron and Steven Spielberg, he said working with Shankar was a delight.''Filmmakers like Shankar, S S Rajamouli and Rajkumar Hirani are
rich treasures and we should take care of them well'', he said.(UNI)
