Bollywood actress Tripti Dimri, celebrated for her arresting performances and haunting screen presence, has revealed a long-standing aspiration to portray yesteryear icons Meena Kumari and Madhubala in cinematic biopics.Catapulted to national fame with her stirring role as Zoya in "Animal", Dimri not only garnered critical acclaim but also captured the public imagination, earning the moniker of the 'National Crush'.
Now cast in "Dhadak 2" where she stars opposite Siddhant Chaturvedi in a socially resonant romantic narrative. Dimri spoke aloud of her aspiration to portray the two Bollywood icons. "I'm a big fan of Meena Kumari and Madhubala. If ever I get the opportunity, I would like to work in the biopic of Meena Kumari and Madhubala, it would be nothing short of a dream come true".
