Mumbai: Salman Khan movies are expected to be blockbuster every-time they release on Eid. The past six movies of Superstar Salman have been the blockbusters and his fans are expecting the same from recently released “Tubelight”. Likewise, every year, Bhaijaan released the movie when Eid is round the corner. However the movie failed to create the hype as compared to his past project. The music too was unable to make space in Chartbusters.
Despite all the shortcomings, Bhaijaan's fans need not worry at all. The movie has made a decent start at the box office by earning 21 crores on 4350 screen. However, it is the lowest ever opening collection of a Salman’s movie since 2012. For Salman and his fans, the weekend before Eid may give good news, but the movie seems to be hit by the poor reviews. One thing is for sure, this time 300 crore figure looks a far fetched dream for Salman. (WD)
