Tulu film director Raghu Shetty dies of heart attacks

Mangaluru: Tulu film script writer and film Director Raghu Shetty died of heart attack on Saturday night in a Private hospital here.

He was 42. He is survived by wife and daughter.

Shetty had been appreciated for the directorial skills he exhibited in the Tulu movie, ‘Arjun weds Amrita’. He was planning to direct a Kannada movie.

Born in Moodbidri on September 1, 1979, Raghu Shetty was raised in Hubballi where his father was a businessman. After his schooling there, he pursued education at Mahaveer College in Moodbidri.

Passionate about movies from a young age, he developed his directorial skills in Bengaluru.

His sudden demise has shocked the Tulu film industry. (UNI)
