Tumhari Sulu and Aksar 2 had a slow start at the box office

Mumbai: The fate of two actresses was tested on the box office this Friday, Vidya Balan and Zareen Khan. Tumhari Sulu performed well at the box office thanks to the power packed performance by Vidya Balan. However, It collected only rs 2.87 crore on the opening day, which is not whopping but good enough considering the budget of the movie. The movie may pick up pace in the weekend.

On the other hand, the sequel Aksar 2 failed to create enthusiasm despite many bold scenes. The movie collected a meagre amount of 1.44 crore. Not man came to the box office on Zareen Khan Khan’s name. (WD)
