Mumbai: 'Hate Story IV' is living up to its successful franchise brand by offering the audience not just racy and risqué promos but also chart buster music like its previous installments. After receiving plaudits and high numbers on social media and music charts for the recreated version of 'Aashiq Banaya Aapne', the makers of 'Hate Story IV' have recreated another Himesh Reshammiya’s successful track of 2006 ‘Naam Hai Tera’. The song that launched on Friday is a new version with female vocals and fresh lyrics – 'Naam Hai Mera'. This promotional song was recently shot in Dubai by Gifty and choreographed by Bosco-Caesar.

The song has been shot on a luxurious yacht and in a palatial mansion in Dubai city. Urvashi will be seen in a specially designed costume with feathers that was handmade over 12 days. Urvashi has turned up the heat by her dancing and oomph. The actress who trained for a few days before going on shoot explored a new form of dance – Waacking. The video is shot as a promotional video for marketing of the film that will have Urvashi playing a female Casanova.

Speaking about the song, Urvashi says, “'Naam Hai Mera' is one of my most favourite romantic tracks and also one of my favourite songs by Himesh Reshammiya. The video is shot beautifully where I play a lady Casanova in beautiful locations in Dubai like a luxury yacht and desert.

I have showcased a new form of dancing in the song called waacking. Waacking is a string kind of dance form and needs a lot of synchronised footwork and hand movements and posing. Waacking puts a strong emphasis of the music and its rhythm. I really love Deepika Padukone and it’s my small way of showing my love for her.'

The song is recreated by Tanishk Bagchi, lyrics by Shabbir Ahmed and sung by Neeti Mohan. 'Hate Story IV', directed by Vishal Pandya, stars Urvashi, Karan Wahi, Vivaan Bhatena, Ihana Dhillon and Gulshan Grover in the lead roles. Produced by T-series, the film will release on March 9. (UNI)
