Valmikis target actor Salman over ‘derogatory’ remarks

Kanpur : People from Valmiki community burnt an effigy of actor Salman Khan here on Saturday in protest over derogatory remarks made by the actor during a promotional event for the film ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’, and threatened to disrupt screening of the film.

The protesters gathered at K D palace in McRobert Ganj and raised slogans and demanded an apology from the actor.The protesters alleged that Salman had insulted the Valmiki community by using derogatory language.(UNI)
