Varun Dhawan teases 'good news' ahead of his latest OTT series release

New Delhi: Actor Varun Dhawan has hinted at an update about his upcoming OTT series "Citadel: Honey Bunny," co-starring Samantha Ruth Prabhu through pics posted on his official Instagram account.
 
Dhawan, who welcomed his first child with his wife Natasha Dalal last month, is gearing up for several exciting projects. Among these, fans are eagerly awaiting news about "Citadel: Honey Bunny."
 
Recently, Dhawan teased an update on Instagram ahead of the release date announcement, posting pictures of himself with stuffed toys.
 
Dhawan was seen in a white t-shirt, blue jeans, and a brown jacket, holding two blue bunnies. He captioned the photos, "Expecting good news 01.08," hinting at an announcement regarding the series. In response, fans humorously speculated whether Dhawan had taken his daughter's toys. Comments included, "Baby Dhawan be like: papa, why are you stealing my toys?" and "I think lil bunny wants her bunnies back."
 
The series, directed by Raj & DK and produced by D2R Films, features a star-studded cast including Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Kay Kay Menon, Simran, Soham Majumdar, Shivankit Parihar, Kashvi Majmundar, Saqib Saleem, and Sikandar Kher.
 
"Citadel: Honey Bunny" is part of the Citadel universe and combines the elements of a gritty spy action thriller with a love story, set in the 90s. The show is produced by Anthony and Joe Russo's AGBO and will stream on Amazon Prime Video.
