Mumbai: Even the biggest stars of Tinsel town has gone through a lean patch in their career. However, it can’t be said for this star kid who started his B town journey in 2012. Varun Dhawan, who started his career with “Student of the year” has not come up with a “flop” movie at box office. This spectacular record takes him just below to the Mighty Khan trios, Akhsay, Hrithik and Ajay in B town.
The debut movie Student of the year was a hit (70 cr). While Main Tera Hero and Badlapur proved average at the box office, earning a collection of 54 and 53 crore. The first 100 cr movie of Varun was ABCD2 which collected 105 crore. Dhishoom fared up as semi hit with a collection of 70 crore. Varun was a supporting actor in Dilwale which earned 148 crores. Humpty Sharma ki Dulhania earned 77 crores and now its sequel Badrinath ki Dulhania is doing quite well at the box office. (WD)
