New Delhi:Filmmaker Vashu Bhagnani on Wednesday announced that his next movie 'Coolie No 1' starring Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan will release on May 1, 2020.
Taking to micro-blogging site Twitter, Pooja entertainment, Vashu's production company said,"Aaj Ka Din, Agle Saal - Aaega Coolie - Hoga Kamaal !! #CoolieNo1 starring @Varun_dvn #SaraAliKhan & directed by #DavidDhawan all set to release on 1st May 2020.@vashubhagnani @jackkybhagnani @honeybhagnani #1YearForCoolieNo1".
Vashu Bhagnani said, "Pooja Films is excited and proud to announce May 1st, 2020 as the Coolie no 1 release date @Varun_dvn #SaraAliKhan #DavidDhawan #1yearToCoolieNo1".
Varun Dhawan said, "Aaj ka Din , Agle Saal Aega Coolie No.1 - Hoga Kamaal !!! Coolie No.1 releases on May 1, 2020 #DavidDhawan #SaraAliKhan @vashubhagnani @poojafilms #1YearForCoolieNo1 #LabourDay".
Directed by David Dhawan, the film starring Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan will begin the shoot this August.
This film will also mark the second collaboration of Varun and David Dhawan on the silver screen as the father-son duo had joined hands for 'Judwaa 2'.
The original film, which starred Govinda and Karisma Kapoor in the lead, was directed by David Dhawan.(UNI)
