Mumbai: Noted film actor Reema Lagoo died of massive cardiac arrest this morning at Kokilaben hospital here. She was 59 and is survived by husband Vivek and daughter Mrunmayee. Born as Reema Bhadbhade, she started her career from Marathi stage and carved a niche for herself in Marathi and Hindi serials and movies.
She won Filmfare award as supporting actor for her role in 'Maine Pyaar Kiya'. The actor was famous for playing mom in both television and movies. Reema acted in many films like 'Hum Saath Saath Hai', 'Kal Ho Na Ho', 'Hum Apke Hain Kaun' and soap operas--'Shriman Shrimati', 'Tu Tu Mein Mein' and 'Namkaran.' (UNI)
