Mumbai: Model-turned-actress Gauahar Khan, who paired up with her real-life husband Zaid Darbar for her latest album, said the video will showcase Zaid in a whole new avatar.

Interacting with the media at the launch of "Main Pyaar Mein Hoon" song here, she said, "This music video is all about Zaid, because this one has him in the spotlight and his performance is fabulous, and I am excited for him".

The music video features Zaid Darbar and Gauahar Khan in an post-independence era. The peppy number is crooned and composed by Goldboy.

Talking about her expectations from the song, Gauhar said, “As an actor or performer, there is always this expectation that people like our work. As we are a real-life couple working together, we would want the people to like our on-screen chemistry as well, since we have put in a lot of effort. We hope people like our work.

"We are in a period set up, the song is set in 1940s during the British era. So, we were shooting at locations where the set is from the era, revisiting that era was fun. The costume, surrounding and general vibe were fun, and as an actor to explore a period genre, which I did with Begum Jaan, for a music video was really fun," she added.
