VIDEO: Rajkummar-Bhumi starrer 'Badhaai Do' trailer OUT!

Mumbai: The trailer of much-awaited sequel of blockbuster 'Badhaai Ho', 'Badhaai Do' was released on Tuesday.

The Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar starrer movie challenges societal norms but at the same time is a roller coaster ride of fun and emotions.

Shared the trailer on Instagram, the actors wrote: "It is one of those films that came our way, touched our hearts in ways we can't explain. Some journeys are meant to be remembered, forever. Ab aap dekho trailer aur hume BadhaaiDo," along with red heart, rainbow and party popper emojis.

Helmed by Harshavardhan Kulkarni, 'Badhai Do' is the sequel of Ayushmaan Khurrana, Neena Gupta, Gajraj Rao and Sanya Malhotra's 'Badhaai Ho'.

The comic sequel also touches on the sensitive issue of sexual orientation.

In this movie, Bhumi Pednekar is in love with a girl, and Rajkummar is interested in boys but enter into a 'lavender marriage' due to the family pressures. However, things get messier when they are asked to have a baby.

The Junglee Pictures' family entertainer boasts of an ensemble cast featuring actors like Seema Pahwa, Sheeba Chadha, Chum Darang, Lovleen Mishra, Nitish Pandey and Shashi Bhushan.

Fans and fellow industry peers have lauded the trailer.

Rajkummar's wife Patralekhaa dropped a comment: "Bhumi fly high" with woman fairy and angel emoji."

Actor Aparshakti Khurana commented: "Superb trailer paajiyo. Looking forward" with fire emoji."

Actor Kunal Kemmu said, "Super trailer brother. Can't wait to watch it" with red heart emoji."

The film is slated to release on February 11. (UNI)
