London: Days after the end of defamation trial against ex-wife Amber Heard, Hollywood actor Johnny Depp surprised the UK's Sheffield city as he joined Jeff Beck on stage for a special performance.
According to BBC, 'Pirates of the Caribbean' actor joined guitarist Jeff Beck's European tour to play guitar and sing at Sheffield City Hall on Sunday night.
Beck's website said: "The musical soulmates have been working behind-the-scenes for the past several years on new music."
The news soon became viral on social media.
One of the fans said, "Leaves court. Rocks up to Sheffield to Jam on stage with Jeff Beck. What a legend!"
The 'Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald' actor has been involved in several previous musical exploits, including performing in supergroup Hollywood Vampires with Alice Cooper and Joe Perry of Aerosmith at a tribute to Motorhead frontman Lemmy, BBC reported.
On May 27, a jury began deliberations following a six-week trial in Virginia involving Depp and his ex-wife Heard.
He had sued Amber for $50 million over an article wherein she claimed to be an abuse victim. However, she counter-sued for $100 million. (UNI)
