WATCH - Special promo of ‘Kaun Pravin Tambe?’: Cricketer speaks about twists and turns in his sporting journey

The makers have dropped a sneak peek of a special promo of upcoming biopic ‘Kaun Pravin Tambe?’. The film stars Shreyas Talpade as Pravin Tambe and is directed by Jayprad Desai. 

Mumbai's leg-spinner shot to fame after he made his Indian Premier League (IPL) debut at the age of 41 for Rajasthan Royals in the 2013 season. In the IPL 2014 season, Tambe picked up a hat-trick against Kolkata Knight Riders. His consistent performances at T20 level makes him an integral part of the Royals team.

He grabbed a spotlight in the Champions League (CL) T20 later that year when he was the leading wicket-taker in the tournament with 12 scalps in five games at an average of 6.50.

Prior to his IPL debut, Tambe had not even played first-class cricket but was a well-known name in the club cricket circuit.

His performance in the CL T20 awarded him a long-awaited Mumbai Ranji call-up in the domestic season 2013–14 season.
