Mumbai: Shah Rukh Khan after a very long time did a Q&A with fans that has satiated them after a major spell of 'King Khan drought' as the Bollywood superstar was for months away from fan connection and his last movie appearance was also over three years back.
Following the announcement of the release date of his new film “Pathaan” on Wednesday, SRK held a 10-minute #AskSRK session on Twitter with fans from world over bombarding him with queries.
Majority of the questions were related to his life, work, personal life, work-life, and his next project.
While most of the questions were related to "Pathaan", there were some that stood out. And in true blu SRKian style, he took a swipe at recent past events as well as gave a "tweet-long" lecture on romance.
One of the social media users asked Shah Rukh, "Keha gayab ho dear...Filmo mai aate reho...Khabro mai nahi (that roughly translates to --where did you vanish, at least appear in films, not news)".
Putting forth a witty reply, SRK said: "Ok next time I will be 'Khabardaar' #Pathaan."
Another netizen tweeted: “Sir padhai kaise karu mann acche se nahi lagta (Sir, how should I study, don't feel like it)”, to which SRK responded: “Dimag try kar shaayad work karega…Mann pyaar ke liye rakh (Use your brains if you need to study, keep the heart apart for love). An advise certainly only Bollywood's King of Romance can give.
In another tweet, a fan wrote “I only have three minutes left to ask my question, but I don't have one. All I want to say is thank you for your grace, your dignity and for the movies.”
The answer to which was no surprise. SRK tweeted back “Dignity Respect Kindness are the hallmark of a life well led. I try very hard.”
Pathaan, would mark Shah Rukh's comeback to the big screen after almost four years on January 25, 2023.
Directed by Siddharth Anand, Pathaan is a spy thriller action film that also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham among others.
Produced by Yash Raj Films, it will be releasing in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. (UNI)
