"Will kill him in his home, blow up his car": Actor Salman Khan receives fresh death threats, FIR registered

Mumbai: Bollywood actor Salman Khan received a fresh death threat on the WhatsApp number of the Mumbai Police’s traffic department helpline number, claiming that they would kill the actor after entering his house and blow up his car with a bomb, officials said here on Monday.

Mumbai Police Worli police station have registered an offence and are investigating it now and trying to trace the origin of the threat message.

The text message, received on the WhatsApp number of the Mumbai Traffic Police helpline, threatened to kill the actor in his home. The actor resides with his family at Galaxy Apartments in Mumbai's Bandra.

Khan, who is on the radar of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, received the fifth such threat within two years.

Last year, shots were fired at his house by shooters associated with the Bishnoi gang, following which the actor's security was beefed up.
