Wishes from Karan Johar, Ayan Mukerji add fuel to Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt wedding rumours

Mumbai: Filmmakers and close friends Karan Johar and Ayan Mukerji on Wednesday shared glimpses of "romance" between star pair of "Brahmastra" Ranbir Kapoor and his bae Alia Bhatt amid reports of their expected wedding that has exploded on social media and TV channels over the week.

From scenes outside "Vastu (Palihill)" where cellphones of security guards were seen being confiscated, to singer Ila Arun congratulating Alia's mom, Soni Razdan:"Hamari sony sasu ma ban raheein hai. congratulations Mahesh and Dear sony. GodBless Aliya and Ranbeer..." all seemed moving in one direction "how the night changes" as till last moment unless the official announcement is made by Kapoor and Bhatt parivar it all is just that "rumour".

Vastu is Ranbir's home in Bandra, and reports on Wednesday said there is a ceremony set to take place.

Mom Neetu Kapoor added fuel to fire, as she posted a major throwback from this day 43 years ago. Sharing a black and white image with late husband and Bollywood matinee idol Rishi Kapoor, Neetu said: "Fond memories of baisakhi day as we got engaged 43 years back on 13th April 1979."

The 63-year-old actor, who recently grooved to the hit "Khullam Khulla Pyar Karenge" song from her movie with Rishi Kapoor (Khel Khel Mein) at a reality TV show, have been confusing the paparazzi with her "will it won't it and date Q/As", on Wednesday egged fans to ponder that it just might be happening.

Ayan, who is closest to Ranbir, and was the first to side step to the couple's beat at a celebrity wedding, as Ranbir-Alia posed together for the first time, put out a reel of “Kesariya” song from "Shiva" the first part of the "Brahmastra" trilogy.

Karan Johar penned a good luck wish to the beautiful couple saying “Love is light and I know the amount of light you have brought into each other's and our lives with your love. To new beginnings and more Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt Brahmastra.”
