Woman arrested, youth detained for attempting to enter Bollywood star Salman Khan's Mumbai residence

Mumbai: The city police have arrested a woman and detained a youth who allegedly made separate attempts to illegally enter Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's residence in suburban Bandra, police said on Thursday.

After this incident, security outside the actor's house in Galaxy Apartments, located in Bandra West, has been beefed up, they said.

According to details, both incidents occurred on May 20.

Khan, facing threat allegedly from the dreaded Lawrence Bishnoi gang, has Y plus security and yet two breaches were made.

The woman, identified as Isha Chhabra (33), was arrested by the police and remanded to police custody until May 23.

The man, identified as Jitendra Kumar Singh (23), was detained and later released after being served a notice by the Bandra police.

Investigations revealed that the woman is a struggling actress while the man is unemployed. Both claimed to be fans of the superstar.
