Another 9K spike in cases takes COVID19 tally of India past 2.5L

New Delhi:With 9,983 more people testing positive for the novel coronavirus, India recorded 2,56,611 cases and over 7,000 deaths in the past 24 hrs, Union Health Ministry said on Monday. 
The death toll stands at 7,135 after 206 fresh fatalities were reported since Sunday.The cases under active medical supervision have also increased here with the figure now standing at 1,25,381 pan India, the data revealed. 
 
Meanwhile, with 4,802 people recovering from the virus in the past 24 hrs, total 1,24,095 recoveries were reported till Monday. 
 
Further relaxations into activities and other spheres have been given beginning today, while national capital has opened its borders along with the withdrawal of restrictions on restaurants, malls and places of worship will also open for public observing guidelines.(UNI)
