COVID-19: India logs 473 new cases in last 24 hrs

New Delhi: India has recorded 473 Covid -19 cases in the last 24 hours, as per the Health Ministry on Monday.
 
With this, the active caseload stood at 7,623 which is 0.02 percent of the total cases, as per the Health Ministry.
 
The death toll has risen to 531839 with 6 new deaths reported in the last 24 hours in various parts of the country.
 
The total number of people who have recuperated from the disease is 4.49 crore (4,49,86,934)
 
The COVID-19 recovery rate stood at 98.80 per cent, whereas the fatality rate was recorded at 1.18 per cent.
 
The Ministry said 1,282 vaccine doses of Covid-19 have been administered during the last 24 hours under the nationwide vaccination drive.
 
Around 220.66 cr Total Vaccine doses (95.21 cr Second Dose and 22.87 cr Precaution Dose) have been administered so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive said the Ministry.
 
Meanwhile, 92.94 cr Total Tests conducted so far; 51,274 tests conducted in the last 24 hours showed the Ministry data. (UNI)
