COVID-19: India records 11,466 new cases, 460 more deaths in last 24 hrs

New Delhi: India on Wednesday recorded 11,466 cases of Covid-19 and 11,961 recoveries during the past 24 hours, the recovery rate currently stands at 98.25 per cent which is the highest since March 2020, said the latest data released by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

The total death toll of the country now stands at 4,61,849.

Total active cases in the country has declined to 1,39,683, which is the lowest in 264 days.

Kerala contributed the bulk of the new cases and deaths recording 6,409 fresh infections and 384 deaths. (UNI)
