New Delhi: India recorded 2,841 new covid-19 cases, taking the total tally to 4,3116 254, as per the Union Health Ministry data on Friday.
The death toll stood at 5,24,190 with 9 more deaths reported.
The active caseload currently stand at 18,604 which now comprise 0.04 per cent of the total infections, while the national Covid-19 recovery rate stands to 98.74 per cent.
Meanwhile, 3,295 recoveries were reported, increasing the total recoveries to 4,25,73,460.
According to the bulletin issued, 84.29 crore tests for Covid-19 have been done so far. In the last 24 hours, a total of 4,86 628 tests have been conducted.
"India has administered 190.99 crore doses of Covid-19 vaccine so far under the ongoing nationwide vaccination drive," Ministry data said. (UNI)
