New Delhi: India recorded 11,109 fresh cases of Covid-19 during the past 24 hours, taking the active caseload to 49,622 according to the Union Health Ministry on Friday.
The death toll has risen to 5,31,064 with 29 corona virus related deaths being reported in the past 24 hours.
A total of 4,42,16,583 people have recuperated so far.
The recovery rate currently stands at 98.71 percent.
The daily positivity rate was recorded at 5.01 percent while the weekly positivity was pegged at 4.29 percent.
