Hyderabad: To arrest the rapid surge in Covid-19 cases in the state, the Telangana Cabinet on Tuesday afternoon has decided to impose lockdown in the state from 10 am on May 12 for a period of ten days.
The decision was taken in the Cabinet meeting Chaired by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.
There would be relaxation for all the activities from 6 am to 10 am daily and the guidelines for the services to be allowed during the lockdown will be released after completion of the Cabinet meeting.
The Cabinet also decided to invite Global tenders for the procurement of vaccine. (UNI)
