New Delhi: The national capital on Friday reported largest single-day spike of 19,486 new cases of COVID-19 while 141 people lost their lives.
The new additions took the national capital’s caseload to 8,03,623 and the death toll to 11,793. The city’s positivity rate is 19.69 per cent. As many as 98,957 people were tested in the past one day. The recovery rate has now decreased to 90.94 per cent even as 12,649 were cured and discharged in past 24 hours.
Currently, there are 29,705 COVID patients under home isolation across the city. The number of active cases are 61,005 which includes patients under home isolation. Containment zones are 9,929. (UNI)
