New Delhi: India registered 2,075 new Covid-19 cases, taking the total tally of cases in the country to 4,30,04,005, as per the Health Ministry data on Saturday. As many as 71 fresh Covid fatalities were also recorded, taking the total death count in the country to 5,16,352.
The active cases currently stand at 27,802 which now comprise 0.06 per cent of the total infections, while the national Covid-19 recovery rate has decreased to 98.73 per cent. Meanwhile, 3,383 recoveries were also reported, taking the total recoveries to 4,24,61,926 in the country.
According to the Ministry's bulletin, 78.22 Crore tests for Covid-19 have been done so far. In the last 24 hours alone a total of 3,70,514 tests have been conducted. “India has administered 181.04 cr doses of Covid-19 vaccine so far under the ongoing nationwide vaccination drive,”. (UNI)
