New Delhi:India reported more than 8,000 cases of the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) cases for the third straight day in 24 hours, taking the tally of infections to 1,90,535, according to the data released by the Union health ministry on Monday.
According to the data, 230 people have lost their lives to the pandemic over the past 24 hours, taking the death toll to 5,394.
Cases under active medical supervision have shot past 90,000-mark, with the figure now at 93,322 across the nation,
Meanwhile, 4,835 patients have been cured and discharged since Sunday, showing a significant rise in the recoveries, taking the pan India cases to 91,818.(UNI)
