India's COVID tally jumps over 1 lakh, 3136 deaths so far

New Delhi:The nationwide tally of Novel Coronovirus (COVID-19) recorded another grim milestone of 1-lakh on Tuesday morning, recording 4,970 fresh cases in the last 24 hours,  according to the Health Ministry update.

The total number of confirmed cases has reached to 10,1139 so far. Death toll due to the virus has now mounted to 3,136 after 107 more people lost their battle to the infection since Monday.

Cases under the active medical supervision at present are 58,802  pan India.On the brighter side,the number of recoveries have improved to 39,173 , after 2,349  were cured since Monday.(UNI)
