Mumbai: In the midst of a political crisis in Maharashtra, State Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari (80) has become infected with Covid-19 on Wednesday.
He has been admitted to H N Reliance Hospital at present.
While, how many severe or common symptoms of Covid he has, it is not yet known.
MVA led Uddhav Thackeray's government is currently in trouble in Maharashtra after his minister Eknath Shinde has adopted a rebel stand. He is accompanied by 40 MLAs including Shiv Sena and Independents.
All these MLAs are presently present in Guwahati of BJP ruled state of Assam .
Some MLAs had cross-voted in the MLC elections held in Maharashtra. BJP got the benefit of this.
It was only after this that Mr Shinde and the rest of the MLAs first went to Gujarat. Yesterday all MLAs stayed in Surat. Now they have reached Guwahati from Surat early this morning.
