Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose was a brave Indian freedom fighter. He was born on January 23, 1897, in Cuttack, Orissa. Netaji formed the Indian National Army (INA), also known as Azad Hind Fauj, to fight against the British.
Netaji traveled to many countries to seek help for India's freedom. His famous slogan, "Give me blood, and I will give you freedom," became a rallying cry for the independence movement. He was a true patriot who sacrificed his life for India's independence. His birthday is celebrated as "Parakram Diwas" (Bravery Day).
