After a long process of selection, the north east region has come up with its
finalists from the 8 states.The results were announced by the official mentor for the Femina Miss India contest 2020, Neha Dhupia.
This is going to be the 57 th edition of the Femina Miss India Contest and the grande finale will be held in Mumbai in February 2021.In the wake of the pandemic, a lot of competitions are obligated to be held online. The beauty pageant will also be carried out in the same manner. The competition has 4 phases, 3 of which will be online.
In the third phase, the finalists from all the 31 states of India will compete with each other for the final 15 spots. These 15 girls will then contest for the ultimate title.
The finalists are :
1. Arunachal Pradesh – Millo Meena
2. Assam – Amrita Kashyap
3. Manipur – Maria Pangambam
4. Meghalaya – Tanvi Marak
5. Mizoram – Lalmuansangi Varte
6. Nagaland – Zuchobeni Tungoe
7. Sikkim – Reetika Chettri
8. Tripura – Chayanika Debnath
