The Sabarimala Makaravilakku festival is just around the corner, and to ensure a smooth experience for devotees, the authorities have limited spot booking to 5,000 per day from January 8 to January 15.

The decision comes after the Kerala High Court's directive to implement efficient crowd management during the festival season.

To manage the crowds, virtual queue bookings have been fixed at:

- 60,000 on January 12
- 50,000 on January 13
- 40,000 on January 14

Devotees are also advised against camping on the hillock, and police inspections will be conducted at Nilakkal before allowing entry to Pampa. The authorities are taking various measures to ensure security and safety at the festival.
