Tirumala: The bhoomi puja at Lord Hanuman's birthplace at Anjanadri in Tirumala will be performed on February 16, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) Executive Officer Dr K S Jawahar Reddy said on Friday.
Speaking with the media here, Dr Reddy said TTD has declared Anjanadri near Akasa Ganga at Tirumala as the birthplace of Sri Anjaneya with epigraphic, geographic and scientific evidence.
In this connection, it has been decided to develop this area as a place of pilgrimage.
TTD has taken up its beautification for which the bhoomi puja will be performed on February 16, he said. (UNI)
