Sabarimala: Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB) President N Vasu on Monday said that devotees will not be allowed for darshan at the world famous Lord Ayyappa temple here on October 19, 20 and 21 due to the prediction of extremely heavy rains in Kerala.

Vasu on Monday urged devotees to return their native places and avoid visiting the Ayyappa temple during these days.

The devotees who are waiting for darshan on these days must return to their native places, he added.

Due to heavy rains, especially in Pathanamthitta district and dangerous high water level in the Pamba river, the TDB requested pilgrims to avoid visiting the hilly district where landslides were reported. (UNI)
