Kochi/Alappuzha:As part of Ghar Wapsi' initiative newly launched by Hindu Seva Kendra, a Christian youth was 're-converted' to Hinduism in Alappuzha district of Kerala on Wednesday.
Hindu Seva Kendra president Pratheesh Viswanath in a message said the Christian youth returned to Hinduism voluntarily.
Those who want to come back to Hinduism, the Hindu Seva Kendra will ensure all kind of social security for them, he added.
However, the details of the re-conversion of the christian youth to hinduism has been withheld temporarily. People reconverted through the 'Ghar Wapsi' because they were not happy with their earlier situations, he claimed.
In January 2015, Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) had claimed that 50 people from several Christian families had re-converted to Hinduism through Ghar Wapsi organised by them in Kottayam, Idukki and Alappuzha in Kerala.(UNI)
