Abuja: A gasoline truck explosion in Nigeria killed 50 people and injured 70 as a gasoline truck exploded in the southeastern Nigerian state of Benue on Monday, local media reported on Tuesday.
According to an eyewitness, the truck skidded off the road and overturned.
When locals ran there with buckets in order to gather fuel that was spilling from the truck, the truck exploded, with the fire affecting a bypassing bus. (UNI)
