Mexico City: The death toll from the explosion at a police school in Colombia's Bogota reached 11, while 87 others sustained injuries, local media reported on Friday.The attack took place at General Santander Police Academy in Bogota on Thursday, ahead of a graduation ceremony at the school.
The Colombian authorities have identified the suspected driver as Jose Aldemar Rojas Rodriguez (56).The driver died in the incident and his motives have not been determined by law enforcement.Seventy-nine out of 87 people, who were injured in the explosion have been hospitalised.
In a statement released by the Foreign Ministry, Brazil stressed its disapproval of all acts of terrorism and expressed condolences to and solidarity with the victims' families.(UNI)
