New Delhi: Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) co-founder Amir Hamza was seriously injured under mysterious circumstances and was admitted to a hospital in Lahore under heavy ISI security.

The 66-year-old editor of LeT magazines was critically injured at his home and is now undergoing treatment at a military hospital in Lahore under ISI protection.

The incident comes three days after Abu Saifullah, a senior LeT operative and key recruiter, was shot dead by unidentified assailants in Pakistan.

Telegram channels linked to LeT supporters said on Tuesday evening that members must remain strong during the "crisis" and called the incident just an "accident".
