New Delhi: Meta on Thursday introduced 'Meta Ray-Ban Display' glasses which are designed to help you look up and stay in the present.
This model was launched at the 'Meta Connect 2025' event in Menlo Park, California.
The model starts at USD 799 including both the glasses and Meta Neural Band.
Meta Ray-Ban Display will hit shelves September 30 at limited brick-and-mortar retailers in the US. Moreover, its expansion to Canada, France, Italy and the UK is planned for early 2026.
Meta Ray-Ban Display and accompanying Meta Neural Band will be available in two colors: Black and Sand.
With its in-built portable (and collapsible) charging case users can experience up to six hours of mixed-use battery life and up to 30 hours of total battery life.
This new category of AI glasses comes with full-color, high-resolution display, microphones, speakers and cameras.
Interestingly, each pair of glasses comes with its own Meta Neural Band, an EMG wristband that translates signals created by your muscles ( like subtle finger movements) into commands for your glasses.
Meta Neural Band is durable, lightweight and comfortable for all-day wear with up to 18 hours of battery life and an IP×7 water rating.
The addition of Neural Band with Ray-Ban Meta Glasses will provide a next-level experience with messaging and video calling facility, preview and zoom, pedestrian navigation, live captions and translations and music playback.
Ray-Ban is a brand of luxury sunglasses and eyeglasses created in 1936 by Bausch & Lomb. In 1999, Bausch & Lomb sold this brand to Italian eyewear conglomerate Luxottica Group for a reported USD 640 million.
