Abuja: At least five people, including an Indian national, were killed after unknown gunmen attacked a business convoy in the central Nigerian state of Kogi, local police said.
The incident took place on Friday evening.
Two more Indians are also reported missing following the attack.
The victims include one Indian expatriate, two drivers and two policemen guarding the convoy.
The convoy belonged to the Kogi-based West Africa Ceramics Company, news agency Xinhua quoted Kogi Police spokesperson William Ovye Aya as saying, citing his statement.
A search operation has been launched to trace the missing Indians, the police added.
The identity of the killed Indian national has not been established yet.
